Brian Keselowski Plans To Attemp Daytona 500

Brian Keselowski, Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski‘s older brother, will attempt to make the Daytona 500 in February. Brian will try to make the “Great American Race” in the No. 92 Toyota.

Recently, Brian has moved his team to Huntersville, NC in hopes of leading to more success and opportunities. One of those opportunities Keselowski hopes becomes a reality is making the Daytona 500. He made the Daytona 500 in 2011 and has experience to lean on but hopes his team’s new location will also lead to better result.

More possible changes to Brian Keselowski’s team includes switching manufactures. Ford has been mentioned as a possible new manufacture for the team in 2013. This comes at the same time his younger brother, Brad, makes the transition to Ford after driving a Dodge last season.

Brian Keselowski’s 2013 plans also include ARCA racing and having his father, Bob Keselowski, as crew chief. Brian will attempt more Sprint Cup races this upcoming season if sponsorship can be found.

As the new season nears, Keselowski’s team will prepare for the Daytona 500. He will have to race his way into the race but he did it in 2011 and knows what it will take to do it again.
