New Crew Chiefs for Front Row Motorsports

As Front Row Motorsports has made an impact in the economic side of NASCAR, they are also looking to start making an impact on the performance side of the sport. The team announced the hiring of two new crew chiefs for two of their three teams for the upcoming 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series!

Frank Kerr will be the crew chief for David Gilliland and the #38 team and Steven Lane will lead Josh Wise and the #26 team.

Kerr has worked in various aspects in the garage and is a long time veteran atop of the pit box. His most recent and notable stint as crew chief was with JTG Daugherty Racing.

“I’m looking forward to working with this young team,” Kerr said. “As an organization they’ve only been on track for a few short years, but there’s a lot of experience in the shop, in the leadership and behind the wheel. I’m looking forward to helping them continue to grow.”

Lane is returning to the pit box for FRM after being with the organization in its founding days with John Andretti and others in 2009.

“This will definitely feel like a homecoming of sorts, back with Front Row and back with Ford,” Lane said. “It was a great experience to help get Front Row’s first full-time Cup team off the ground back in 2009, and this will be a similar experience working with Josh as he expands his role with the team.”

Jay Guy and David Ragan will remain together with the #34 team.

FRM is excited and feeling well prepared for a season that expect to see improvements across the board. The addition of two more veteran crew chief only adds to their expectations.
