Alex Bowman Will Run Full Nationwide Series Schedule

ARCA Racing Series young phenom Alex Bowman is moving on up into the ranks of NASCAR. RAB Racing announced that Bowman will drive for them full-time in the #99 Toyota for 2013.

Bowman is 19 years old from Tucson, Arizona and is making big headlines within the ranks of ARCA. Now he will be given a chance to do so in NASCAR.

He ran four races last season. Two for Turner Motorsports and two more for RAB Racing. He finished 17th in his debut race which was with Turner Motorsports at Chicagoland Speedway. His best finish was a 15th place finish however with RAB Racing.

Last season in ARCA Racing competition he won three races and gave a solid effort all year in the overall point standings.

Now RAB Racing has had a solid fan base over the last two seasons, but that came with the edition of Kenny Wallace a fan favorite who gave the team their best effort in 2011.

2012 was a season full of part-time drivers because of sponsorship issues, and for 2013 still has no official and/or confirmed plans for Wallace. He has participated in a photo shoot this week wearing a RAB Racing suit, so it appears that full-time or part-time, Wallace will be racing with RAB Racing in a second car. Presumably the #09 that Wallace made famous!
