After two wins last year and a strong 5th place finish in the points, Greg Biffle has a good shot to win his first Sprint Cup Series Championship this year. Also with the new Gen 6 car, it makes for an even playing field so if Biffle can be the first one to capitalize on it, he has a great shot at winning many races and possibly the championship.
2012 was to a certain degree very disappointing to Greg Biffle who was on top of the points for 14 weeks. He is looking to become the only driver in NASCAR history to win a Nationwide, Camping World and Sprint Cup Series Championship. I believe this year is one of his best chance to do this.
With Matt Kenseth departing to Joe Gibbs Racing that means that Greg Biffle is now the longest tenured driver at Roush-Fenway Racing. He started his Sprint Cup Career full-time in 2003. Greg Biffle will also one again be driving the number 16 car with 3M as his sponsor. Biffle will once again be paired up this year with crew chief Matt Puccia who so far have had a pretty good outing together since being put together in 2011.
It is hard to believe that the 2013 season will mark the 11th season and 10th full time for Greg Biffle on the Sprint Cup Side and hopefully it will be the one that he will never forget.
