Bristol: NASCAR Gambling and Odds

Its the 4th race of the season for the NASCAR Sprint Cup series this weekend and they head into a fan favorite, Bristol. Now last year the spring race as a failure and attendance was the worst I think anyone has ever seen at Bristol. So Bruton Smith decided to change the track back to its original one groove track. The fall race was better and it will be very interesting to see the new Gen 6 cars on the Bristol surface. As always with any sporting event comes gambiling and the odds are always interesting.

The Sprint Cup Food City 500 is the main even this weekend at Bristol and Las Vegas has the odds for this week. Bovada has Kyle Busch having the best shot at 6/1. Last years winner of the event, Brad Keselowski has the second best with 13/2. The current points leader Jimmie Johnson is third on the list at 15/2. however has both Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch at 5/1 shot of winning the races. No surprises and no real surprises at all on the list. Of course I have to include Danica Patrick, she is at 150/1 which is not that great and personally I don’t think she stands any chance. Fan Favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr is posted at 12/1 and last weeks winner Matt Kenseth is at 17/2. Just for fun I thought I would include Joe Nemecheck, Josh Wise and Michael McDowell. They are all at 1000/1.

Lets not forget about the Nationwide race on Saturday either. The first three favorites are all sprint cup drivers. Kyle Busch once again being on top at 11/4 then, Brad Keselowski at 7/1 and finally Kevin Harvick at 11/2. The first Nationwdie driver is Brian Vickers whose odds are 8/1. Last weeks winner Sam Hornish Jr has odds of 10/1

Bristol is always an exciting weekend and hopefully we will see some good racing with the new Gen 6 car. To see the complete odds list click here
