The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is finally back at the track after nearly a month long break after their season opener at Daytona International Speedway. This weekend the trucks will tackle the paperclip known as Martinsville Speedway in a two-hundred and fifty mile sprint to the checkered flags.
The Onion, Todd Bodine, is back this week after his new team was able to secure sponsorship for his No. 13 truck for this weekend. With no guarantee that he will be able to race each weekend, you can bet Bodine will push hard to win any and all races he can get into.
Kevin Harvick returns to the Camping World Truck Series this weekend. Last season he dominated this race, but he won’t be driving for Richard Childress. This weekend he will be behind the wheel of Joe Denette’s No. 24 truck.
Lance McGrew will return to the track as a crew chief, but will serve for young Chase Elliott who will make his trucks debut in his No. 94 Chevrolet. Elliott is the son of NASCAR legend, Bill Elliott, and has quickly become a fan favorite.
Who can survive the carnage that Martinsville always leaves behind? We’ll find out on Saturday!
