Scott Speed Finds A Sponsor for Texas

For the bulk of the races so far this season Scott Speed and his Leavine Family Racing team have been running a unique paint scheme. It’s an all black car with a jolly roger on the hood. It’s their unique and creative way of trying to find a sponsor for their No. 95 Ford. It seems it has also paid off!

The team announced Tuesday that they have found a sponsor for the NRA 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.

TrackingPoint will join the team for the weekend. TrackingPoint is a company from Austin, Texas that created the first precision guided firearm. It is a “revolutionary new long-range shooting system that puts jet fighter ‘lock and launch’ technology in a rifle, enabling users to hit moving targets at extended ranges.”

The team owners are from Texas so joining TrackingPoint on the car this weekend are local sponsors, Tommy Williams Drywall and B&D Electrical.

Leavine Family Racing will also be promoting “Besties with Testies” to promote testicular cancer awareness and TeaZa Herbal Energy Pouch another associate sponsor of the racing team.

Scott Speed joined the Sprint Cup Series with Red Bull Racing in 2008. He has one career top-5 and three career top-10 finishes. He currently 40th in the 2013 driver point standings.
