Aaron’s 499: Start Time, Entry List, and TV Schedule


After a thrilling finish at Richmond, we move on to the thrilling high banks of Talladega. The Sprint Cup Series rolls into town for the first race at ‘Dega with the Gen-6 car. Daytona was a snooze-fest, but NASCAR thinks and expects a different race this weekend.

After being robbed of his first oval win in NASCAR, Juan Pablo Montoya makes his way to a track that can either give him a win if he’s in the right position, or take him out of the race if he’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. Can he use his excitment and confidence from last weekend to continue his strong runs into a long-term run of good finishes?

Penske Racing has had a tough week after seeing their penalties be upheld by NASCAR. Now both of their championship contending drivers are without their crew chiefs. How will they handle working with a new and temporary crew chief?
