Kyle Busch Dominates, Wins Charlotte Truck Race

In typical fashion, Kyle Busch continued to please his fans and anger those who aren’t his fans. He not only won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but he dominated it. He even had to come back from the rear of the field after a penalty on pit road.

Kyle Busch was under pressure from his driver Bubba Wallace in the closing laps as both drivers were chasing down Miguel Paludo, but as Justin Lofton brought out the final caution, Wallace made contact with Brad Keselowski and wrecked head first in the inside wall.

Busch was easily able to leave the field behind on that last restart and sail to yet another victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway and in the Camping World Truck Series. He led eighty laps tonight.

Rounding out the top-10 is Brendan Gaughan, Max Gresham, Matt Crafton, Ty Dillon, James Buescher, Miguel Paludo, John Wes Townley, Ross Chastain, and Justin Lofton.

It has been ten years since Brendan Gaughan has been to victory lane in the Camping World Truck Series. He stayed rather close to Busch in the closing laps, but couldn’t get a big enough run to challenge Rowdy for the win in the end.

Max Gresham finished third earning a new career high best finish. It was overall a solid night for he and the entire Eddie Sharp Racing team.

Heading to Dover, Matt Crafton holds onto the points standings lead by twenty-two points.
