JJ Yeley will be joining Xxxtreme Motorsports in 2014 starting at Phoenix International Raceway.

Yeley will drive the No.44 Xxxtreme Motorsports Chevy for John Cohen in 2014 with a partial season.

Yeley has two top-5 finishes in the Sprint Cup Series with his best being 2nd in the 2006 Coca-Cola 600.

Xxxtreme Motorsports is normally a start-and-park team but with Yeley behind the wheel, they are hoping to change that.

Per the team press release, Yeley is ready for 2014. “I am excited that we were able to work it out that we can work together. John has such a deep passion for NASCAR and wanting to be a successful part of it. The program he has in place for 2014 in impressive; the engine package, being self sufficient and still being a small team yet having the feel of a larger team. That for me is all very exciting.”
