For those of you that aren’t aware, “Tanked” is a wildly popular show on Animal Planet. The show follows around who run a family-owned custom fish tank shop. The shop is named Acrylic Tank Manufacturing or ATM for short; it bills itself as the world’s largest manufacturer of customized aquarium installations. ATM installs some of the most unique fish tanks all over the country for a variety of clients.

In an upcoming episode set to air on March 14th, the ATM crew heads to North Carolina to work with NASCAR driver Ryan Newman. Newman and his wife got in touch with the show when they had the idea to add a tank to their Rescue Ranch. Rescue Ranch is an animal rescue facility that the couple owns.

Rescue Ranch is a non-profit organization that was founded by the Newman’s in 2012. The primary goal of the ranch is to end pet overpopulation and associated suffering by promoting and providing for the humane care, protection and control of domestic animals. Last summer the ranch began a series of humane education programs. Since then they have been focused on implementing a rescue adoption program as well as a boarding program.

Below is a preview of the show from RyanNewman.com.

In this episode, the dynamic duo brings to life a functional aquatic desk for the entrance of the ranch. For this pet-passionate couple, King and Raymer customize a multi-piece desk freshwater tank on site with handmade animal sculptures and coral alongside an array of exotic fish. To pinpoint the theme, the duo recreates a variety of animals that can be found at the center including a Bulldog, Golden Labrador, rabbits, turtles and snakes, as well as a life-like NASCAR helmet taking center stage that incorporates the sporty side of Newman.

You can catch this episode of “Tanked” March 14th at 10:00 PM on Animal Planet. If you wish to learn more about the Rescue Ranch you can visit their website at http://www.rescueranch.com/.
