Indy 500 Results, Kurt Busch Impressive In Debut

Sunday was set to be a long day for Kurt Busch. Busch who is racing the “double” took the green flag for the Indy 500 shortly after 12:00 pm ET. Nobody knew exactly what to expect from Busch in the Indy 500. Busch turned a lot of heads when he qualified 12th for the race, he also turned a lot of heads when he wrecked during practice earlier in the week.

Busch was steady through the Indy 500, falling back early while he seemed to be getting a feel for the race and the track. Busch found himself in the top-10 with less than 10 laps to go when the race was stopped for a wreck amongst the leaders. The final restart came with 6 laps to go while Busch was running in the 6th position.

When it was all said and done Busch wound up in 6th with Ryan Hunter-Reay winning the race. Below is the complete Unofficial Running Order of the Indy 500.
