HOT – Jimmie Johnson

It was only a couple of weeks ago that fans were worried about Jimmie Johnson and his 2014 season. Johnson was mired in a 13 race losing streak (which is long by his standards) and was off to the longest winless streak to begin a season in his career. Flash forward a couple of weeks and Johnson now has two wins and would be the No. 1 seed if the chase were to begin this weekend. Speaking of this weekend, the series is heading to Pocono Raceway which happens to be a track that Johnson has historically run well at. With all of the momentum that the No. 48 team has built in the last two weeks it would not be surprising to see him compete for a third consecutive win. Much of the NASCAR community was ready to write Johnson off but now Johnson is clearly ready to contend to win his seventh career NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.
