NASCAR: Alex Bowman Stumps Fans On Rookie Knowledge [VIDEO]

The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie Class is one of the largest in the history of the series. While all of the rookies may not be having stellar 2014 campaigns, they are all talented and have the potential to stick around the series for a long time. That being said, how aware are fans when it comes to the 2014 rookies?

NASCAR is different from other sports in that all of the competition is right in front of your face on any given week. In MLB or the NFL it’s hard to know other player for other teams. If your favorite team is the Denver Bronocs, you’re most likely not going to know much about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This isn’t because you don’t care (or maybe it is) but given the fact that they play in a different conference and you might play them once every few years; you simply don’t see them enough to know about them. The same can be said for many of the other major sporting leagues.

In NASCAR you see your favorite drivers competition every weekend. So with that in mind, how many of the 2014 rookies are you able to name? In the below video current rookie Alex Bowman poses as a NASCAR.com reporter and interviews fans in an effort to see just how much they know about the 2014 rookie class. Hopefully you knew more than most of them about this years rookies.

How many of the rookies were you able to name off of the top of your head? Aside from the big-two in Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon, which of the other rookies are you most impressed with thus far this season? Be sure to share your thoughts by commenting below!
