NASCAR: Michigan Qualifying Results, Kevin Harvick On Pole

Kevin Harvick is kicking off the Michigan weekend the right way. Friday during knock out qualifying for the Quicken Loans 400 Harvick was able to put his No. 4 machine on the pole. Harvick will look to keep the trend of being fast going when he takes the green flag on Sunday for the Quicken Loans 400. Harvick currently has two wins on the season and is tied for the most in the series with Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

While a lot can change come race day, it should be noted that Aric Almirola and Paul Menard were both impressive by qualifying inside of the top-five. It should also be mentioned that Jimmie Johnson qualified well which is important for him since he has never won at this track in his career.
