Last finish
.Jeff Gordon2↑21stJeff Gordon won his record fifth Brickyard 500 and his second race of the season. The drive for his fifth championship is upon us.
.Brad Keselowski
↓112thIt was a nice rebound for the No. 2 team after getting caught a lap down due to a caution.
.Kyle Busch1↑52ndKyle Busch has run 2nd in three of the last four races. It's hard to imagine him not winning another race before the chase.
.Dale Earnhardt Jr.2↓29thEarnhardt Jr. has run 10th and 9th the last two weeks but has left both tacks knowing he should have had more.
.Matt Kenseth0↑14thSolid run for Kenseth who is in a prime spot to make the chase even without a win.
.Kevin Harvick2↓28thHarvick had a 5th place car at best and he didn't finish too far away from that.
.Joey Logano2---5thAfter a hot start Logano has begun to take a backseat to his teammate. He will need more strong runs like Indy come chase time.
.Kasey Kahne0↓36thWith 17 laps to go Kahne had a win and a spot in the chase in front of him.
.Denny Hamlin1↑63rdHamlin and the No. 11 team were on cloud nine with their 3rd place finish. That was until the post-race inspection came.
Kyle Larson0↑47thKyle Larson is going to make the chase in 2014 and he is going to win a race before the season is over.
.Ryan Newman0↑111thNobody is talking about him but Newman looks to be on his way to the chase.
.Jimmie Johnson3↓314thJohnson can afford to be mediocre the rest of the season but it doesn't mean that he should.
.Carl Edwards2---15thTwo wins has Edwards in the chase. Making it to Homestead would make for good drama as he prepares to exit RFR.
.Clint Bowyer0↓416thBowyer is on the bubble when it comes to the chase. He needs top-10 finishes.
.Tony Stewart0↓417thStewart is in trouble when it comes to the chase. With only six races to go the driver of the No. 14 may need to win his way into the chase.
