Over the next couple of weeks Beyond The Flag will feature a series of posts called NASCAR Legends Quick Facts. These slide shows will feature photos and facts about the NASCAR Hall Of Fame Class of 2015 inductees . The 2015 class is Bill Elliott, Joe Weatherly, Wendell Scott, Rex White and Fred Lorenzen.

The series will start with Hall of Fame inductee Bill Elliott. Elliott just happened to be this author’s first favorite driver and it’s his popularity that is likely the reason she took a shining to motorsports in general.
