With the IndyCar schedule facing an empty spot during Labor Day weekend, now is the time to discuss the top tracks to fill the void.

For IndyCar to avoid their first season since 2012 to feature just 15 races, they need to add a replacement venue to the IndyCar schedule. Both NOLA Motorsports Park and the Milwaukee Mile, which hosted races in 2015 are not on this short list, as financial and marketing woes have plagued both.
