As fall turns the calendar from October to November, so we begin to count down the final weekends filled with racing this season. The motorsports TV schedule is becoming thinner to end 2016, but there are still a number of big championships still to be decided.

NASCAR will be the big show for the racing world. All three of stock car racing’s top divisions will be on track from the Texas Motor Speedway, looking to see who can advance in the Chase.

The action starts on Friday night with the Camping World Truck Series, followed by the Xfinity Series on Saturday afternoon. Then the main event comes on Sunday as the Cup Series races in the AAA Texas 500.

Most other series have either reached their season’s end or are taking the weekend off but the FIA World Endurance Championship will be on course Sunday. They will race in the Six Hours of Shanghai starting in the overnight hours here in the United States, and continuing into the morning.
