Winter can be long, cold, and lonely for many motorsports fans. However, these marquee racing events from can help keep you entertained.

The winter doldrums from early December to the middle of February are some of the most lackluster and quiet months for motorsports fans. NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula One are in the depths of their offseason, as are many other series around the world. Racing competition is slim around North America, as weather often prevents competition on northern tracks.

However, the winter months aren’t always so boring and dull for race fans around the globe. The occasional special events and few wintertime series do help cut through some of the time that many are waiting for to end. Action on both two and four wheels can hold over many until the top racing series return in February and March.

From late models and midget cars, to some of the top performing touring and sports cars on the planet, there is a variety of action to see between snowstorms. And while many of the top drivers are on the sidelines, resting up for their coming seasons, there are plenty of solid drivers to follow as they compete for wins and titles.

So, if you’re feeling down while your favorite team, driver, or car is sitting parked in the garage, come in from the cold and settle down with some fantastic auto action from the winter months.
