NASCAR: 14 Racing Movies To Get You Through The Off-Season

The 2016 off-season is coming to a close but there are still a few weeks left before the 2017 season begins. While you’re getting through these last few weekends without NASCAR, take in some great racing movies.

Over the years the racetrack has provided a backdrop for dozens of Hollywood features starring some of the industries biggest stars. With no on-track activities this weekend (or for the next few), we are going to give you list of some of our favorite racing movies along with their trailers to help hold you over until Daytona in a few weeks.

I have polled my fellow writers here at Beyond the Flag, along with hundreds of recommendations I received on Facebook when I asked for suggestions. I have taken all the movies recommended and and divided them up into different categories. We have films to make you laugh, ones that keep you on the edge of your seat, ones for the whole family, and documentaries that are fantastic. We also have a special category at the end of movies so bad that you have to watch.
