The qualifying session for the 2019 IndyCar season’s 14th race, the ABC Supply 500, at Pocono Raceway was rained out, so the starting lineup was set based on entrant points.

The qualifying session for the 2019 IndyCar season’s 14th of 17 races and fourth of five oval races, the ABC Supply 500, at Pocono Raceway was rained out.

The opening practice session for this race was rained out as well due to rain in the area that prevented the medical helicopter from operating as it is required to during practice sessions.

Because of how much rain came down on the track, there would have been no time remaining to practice prior to the qualifying session.

As a result, the starting lineup for this race was set based on entrant points, as the series made the move to emphasize track time over qualifying.
