Stewart Wants To Win In 2016 And He Supports Bowyer

Stewart made it clear that he is happy Bowyer is the next guy. Stewart spoke several times about how great Clint Bowyer is and he praised him to no end. Stewart is clearly 100 percent behind Bowyer and happy to have him in the car in 2017.

Stewart also made it clear that 2016 is about winning. He said he wants to win the Daytona 500, Southern 500 and another NASCAR title. Stewart said he isn’t out there to just drive around and say goodbye, he wants to win and he knows that he can win.

Stewart thinks the team is close to turning it around and he thinks they will be competitive in 2016 and win some races. He reflected his time with SHR and said that the 2011 title was his greatest accomplishment in NASCAR. I would have to think that a title in 2016 might trump the one that he won in 2011.
