NASCAR: Auto Club 400 Qualifying Results, Dillon On Pole
On Friday evening the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers took to the track for qualifying for Sunday’s Auto Club 400. When the session came to a close it was Austin Dillon winning the pole.
On Sunday in California NASCAR will wrap up the annual West Coast swing with the Auto Club 400. Recently it has seemed like qualifying has been owned by the Busch brothers. Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch have been on target with their qualifying setups but Kurt Busch missed the mark on Friday, not getting out of the first round. Kyle Busch on the other hand easily got himself into the third round of qualifying where he wound up qualifying
A few other drivers struggled as well as Kyle Larson, Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. also did not manage to get themselves out of the first round of qualifying.
