Will Kyle Busch find his way into Victory Lane at Charlotte in a Cup Series points race?

Ironically, Kyle Busch has never won a point race in a Cup car at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Although it is very hard to believe, it has never happened. True, he is the 2017 All-Star Race winner, which took place in May, but the 2015 Cup Series champion is still in search of his first points race win at Charlotte.

Why is he an easy pick to win this weekend? The answer is due to the fact that he is without question the hottest driver in the field. Busch will look to make it three in a row this weekend at Charlotte and is easily the driver with the best odds in Vegas of taking home the trophy.

Not only has Busch won the last two races in the playoffs and the All-Star race in May at this track, but he was also runner-up to Austin Dillon in the Coca-Cola 600 in May. Why is that important? Austin Dillon was the winner of that race and won it by way of fuel strategy. With the changes NASCAR has implemented, winning a race on fuel strategy is almost a thing of the past. Expect to see the 18 M&M Caramel car in Victory Lane on Sunday.
