Ed Carpenter Racing

  • Spencer Pigot is set to return to Ed Carpenter Racing in the 2019 season, which is set to be his fourth season and second full season driving in IndyCar as well as his fourth season and second full season driving for Ed Carpenter Racing. His contract runs through the 2019 season.
  • Ed Carpenter is set to return to Ed Carpenter Racing as the team’s oval race driver in the 2019 season, which is set to be his 17th season and sixth season as an oval race-only driver in IndyCar as well as his seventh season and fifth season as an oval race-only driver for Ed Carpenter Racing. He is the team owner, so it is not known when he will give up his driving duties.

Team Penske

  • Josef Newgarden is set to return to Team Penske in the 2019 season, which is set to be his eighth season driving in IndyCar as well as his third season driving for Team Penske. His contract runs through at least the 2019 season.
  • Will Power is set to return to Team Penske in the 2019 season, which is set to be his 15th season and 13th full season driving in IndyCar as well as his 11th season and 10th full season driving for Team Penske. His contract runs through at least the 2020 season.
  • Simon Pagenaud is set to return to Team Penske in the 2019 season, which is set to be his 10th season and ninth full season driving in IndyCar as well as his fifth season driving for Team Penske. His contract runs through at least the 2020 season.
