For which team will Valtteri Bottas drive in the 2020 Formula 1 season? With Silly Season set to heat up in the near future, here are his top three landing spots.

Valtteri Bottas is in his third consecutive season driving for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport this year. He is also in his third consecutive contract season driving for the Brackley-based team, leaving his future uncertain beyond the conclusion of the 21-race 2019 Formula 1 season.

Bottas signed his current contract, his third consecutive one-year contract, last July. This contract also contained an additional one-year option that Mercedes may end up utilizing to retain him through the 2020 season.

Then again, they may not, and they may seek a new teammate, the third in five seasons, for Lewis Hamilton, who signed a two-year contract extension last July.

Bottas has certainly performed a lot better this season than he has in past seasons, but has he improved enough not only in his own right but in regard to his contribution to the team to warrant the Silver Arrows bringing him back for a fourth consecutive season? If his one-year contract option is not picked up, for which team will he drive next year?

Here are the top three possible landing spots for the 29-year-old Finn for the 2020 season.
