NASCAR: Looking Ahead At The 2015 Potential Free Agents

The 2014 NASCAR season is just heating up with the chase only a couple of weeks away. While 2014 may be long from over, it’s never too early to look ahead to what might transpire in 2015. This season the fate of drivers like Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer were up in the air. Ultimately Edwards was the only one to move as he will be headed to Joe Gibbs Racing next season.

The only driver whose 2015 status is still up in the air is that of Marcos Ambrose. Ambrose is unsure as to whether or not he will return to the No. 9 machine in 2015 for Richard Petty Motorsports. There are also rumors circulating that Ambrose will be leaving NASCAR at the end of the season to return to Australia.

Although it’s impossible at this to know the fate of the drivers who contracts will expire at the end of next season, it’s never to early too speculate.
