NASCAR is technically not a team sport even though there are teams. However, the team aspect is still important on certain levels.

When Kyle Busch wins a race and Denny Hamlin finishes second, there aren’t many Hamlin fans out there who are happy that a JGR driver still won the race. Conversely, when there are two laps to go at Daytona and Kyle Busch is behind Denny Hamlin, every Hamlin fan is happy it’s a JGR driver pushing and not another team.

Heading into 2017 there are plenty of questions to be asked around NASCAR. Some of those questions have to do with drivers and some have to do with teams. Here is a quick look at the biggest question facing each NASCAR team as the drivers prepare for the Clash at Daytona and then the Dayton 500.
