Fast Five: Best Spring Finishes At Auto Club Speedway

One: 2013 – Auto Club 400

The 2013 finish to the Auto Club 400 was very similar to the finish of the 2011 race. For Kyle Busch it was a seen all too familiar only this time he was on the end that any NASCAR driver would prefer to be on. With only a few laps to go in the race Denny Hamlin was racing Joey Logano hard for the lead and what he thought was going to be the win. These two drivers went from teammates to enemies in a very short period of time and tensions were high as it looked like either driver would wreck the other to get the victory. Unfortunately, the two of them going at it opened the door for the No. 18 car. The contact and then wreck between Logano and Hamlin on the last lap didn’t help the situation much either.
