Kahne has struggled through the first eight races of the season. Whether it has been bad luck, his pit crew, driver mistakes or all of the above, the results have simply not been good for the No. 5 machine. Heading into Richmond Kahne currently sits 23rd in the points. When it comes to Kahne you never know which team is going to show up to the track. Will it be the team that has four top-11 finishes or will it be the team that has four finishes outside of the top-20? Kahne has the talent to win on any given week but he needs to find consistency across the board if he wants to salvage his 2014 season.
