Patrick led some laps at Talladega Superspeedway. Not only did Patrick lead laps but she also got a standing ovation from a large group of fans when she led her first lap on Sunday. Patrick would finish the race in the 22nd position. That 22nd place finish was not only her best finish on that track but it is also the best finish of any woman in history at Talladega. Patrick is slowly but surely making progress in 2014.
