NASCAR: Who’s Hot and Who’s Not Heading Into All-Star Race

Remember when Kurt Busch won a race earlier this year? That win was supposed to lock him into the chase. Since that time it would seem that he is doing everything in his power to try and miss the chase despite that win. Busch currently sits 28th in the points. The good news is that he is 53 points ahead of 31st place. The likelihood of him finishing outside of the top-30 and missing the chase may be slim but he is certainly keeping it interesting. Aside from that, most weeks he isn’t even looking competitive out there. Granted, there have been weeks where he has been victim to other drivers mishaps. However there have also been a lot of weeks where he simply didn’t have a top-20 car. Busch needs to turn his fortunes around to secure his chase spot and make it past the opening race.
