NOT – Kasey Kahne

Every single week it seems to be something else when it comes to Kasey Kahne. Much like in the Sprint All-Star Race, Kahne had a fast car for the Coca Cola 600. However, early in the race Kahne was blocked from getting into his pit box on pit road and as a result had to drive back around. This early mishap had Kahne and the No. 5 team playing catchup the entire night; in the end they were only able to muster a 14th place finish. The 2014 season is only 12 races old and there is still plenty of time for Kahne to win a race and get himself into the chase. The troubling thing for Kahne though is that we are almost halfway to the chase and his luck seems to not be getting any better. The other issue is that when he does have luck on his side mental mistakes by him or more recently his crew seem to put him in a hole. Kahne is now the only driver for HMS that has not won this season.
