NOT – Kasey Kahne
It seems that Kasey Kahne finds himself on the “NOT” list almost every week. In all fairness, most weeks the struggles of the No. 5 team are not directly the fault of Kahne. For example, Pocono ended for Kahne in a hard wreck that was caused by Kyle Busch essentially running him up the track and into the wall. Poor race strategy and less than desirable pit crew performances coupled with a few mistakes by Kahne himself have summed up the rest of the struggles for the No. 5 team. Kahne is the only member of HMS who is currently without a win. With only 12 races left before the chase Kahne will most likely need a win to get in as he is currently 22nd in the point standings. A lot can happen in 12 races and for the No. 5 team they are most likely hoping that a lot of those things are positive.
