NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Kentucky

Remember when you couldn’t wait for NASCAR to move from FOX to TNT? As horrible as FOX was and I am not saying that they weren’t, TNT has not been a step in the right direction. In fact, if you wanted to you could argue that TNT at times has been worse than FOX was earlier in the season. While I am not someone who believes that FOX or TNT are the reason that the ratings have been down this season, I will say that it certainly isn’t helping the situation. NASCAR fans are going to watch regardless even if that means muting the telecast in order to avoid hearing the horrible race coverage. That being said, I know that there are a small group of fans out there that have ditched the TV telecast in favor of the radio broadcast. Even though those numbers are sure to be small, this is something that should not be happening. Something needs to be done to improve the quality of the TV product.
