16th Seed – Austin Dillon

Two rookies in the chase? Yeah that’s right, it is going to happen. Dillon will most likely finish second in the Rookie of the Year standings but he will snag the final spot in the 2014 chase field, which isn’t to shabby. Dillon has not had the type of season that Kyle Larson has had but he has been running well the past couple of weeks and that momentum will propel him to a strong finish and a spot in the 2014 chase. Dillon running in the chase this season will only help him as he continues to hone his craft and become a better driver. Also, it nice to see that No. 3 car once again trying to contend for a championship.
