NOT – Morgan Shepherd

When you’re 72 years old life is supposed to be simple. At that point in time hopefully you are retired and if you’re not then hopefully you’re working because of you love and passion for said work and not out of necessity. Morgan Shepherd is still working because of that said love and passion for what he does. Unfortunately for Shepherd he found himself in some hot water after he accidentally wrecked the No. 22 car of Joey Logano. Logano who was running second at the time was simply trying to pass the lapped car of Shepherd when the two got tangled and Logano headed to the garage and a finish outside of the top-40. The incident also brought up the question of whether someone who is that old should be allowed to race and whether or not NASCAR needs to address the minimum speed rule. At this point in the career of Shepherd he should only want people talking about him if he runs well or decides to hang them up; incidents like last week are not the type of talk one would have to thing Shepherd wants to be happening.
