No. 48 Jimmie Johnson

What if Jimmie Johnson left HMS and signed on with a Penske or how about RFR in an effort to save their team?

Okay, I will wake up now and stop spewing nonsense.

Johnson has won six championships with HMS and will most likely win a couple of more before it is all said and done. Even in 2014 when Johnson is having a “down” year he still has three wins and is tied for the top seed in the chase with two races left. Jeff Gordon has a lifetime contract with HMS and it would be hard to imagine Johnson not ending up with one at some point as well.

Prediction: Jimmie Johnson will remain with Team Hendrick.
