Joe Gibbs Racing – Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards
Edwards and Kenseth may not officially be teammates until next season but they are a duo worth mentioning. Kenseth is having a down year from his seven win performance in 2013 but he is still running well and should make the chase. Edwards has been the class of RFR and will be a welcomed addition to JGR in 2015.
Kenseth: Currently seeded 13th in the chase standings. Nine top-five finishes and 15 top-10 finishes. Average starting position of 15.62 and average finishing position of 13.37.
Edwards: Currently seeded 7th in the chase standings. Two wins, five top-five finishes and 10 top-10 finishes. Average starting position of 14.58 and average finishing position of 14.72.
