Stewart-Haas Racing – Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart

It was tough to decide who to pair with Harvick but ultimately it was deemed that despite not having a win Tony Stewart has been a little more consistent in 2014 than Kurt Busch. Stewart will look to race his way into the chase over the next two weeks. Harvick has been one of the best drivers of 2014. Harvick has won six poles this season (he only had six career poles entering 2014) and has been on of the fastest cars all season ling.

Harvick: Currently is seeded 6th in the chase standings. Two wins, six pole awards, seven top-five finishes and 12 top-10 finishes. Average starting position of 8.83 and average finishing position of 15.04.

Stewart: Currently sits in 26th place in the chase standings due to missing three races. In 21 races he has one pole award, two top-five finishes and six top-10 finishes. Average starting position of 15.76 and average finishing position of 18.61.
