NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Richmond

HOT – Danica Patrick

Atlanta was quite the night for Danica Patrick and the No. 10 team. Patrick got better and better as the night progressed and on the final restart of the race she was sitting in 4th place. Unfortunately for Patrick she took the final restart in the outside lane and was not able to make a real challenge for the leaders. In the end Patrick took home a 6th place finish which is nothing to scoff at considering it is her best finish as a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver. 2014 has not been the exact year that Patrick might have hoped for but there is no doubt that she is improving and having a far better year than her rookie campaign in 2013. The other good news here is that there are still 11 more races to run in the 2014 season. While Patrick will most likely not make the chase, she will still have ample opportunity to continue to improve before the end of this season.
