NASCAR: Who’s Hot And Who’s Not Heading Into Loudon

Keselowski and the No. 2 team are on fire right now having won back-to-back races. Winning the opening race of the chase not only put Keselowski atop of the chase standings but it also locks him into the next round. If you remove his 39th place finish in the Oral-B USA 500, Keselowski has finished three of the last four races in 2nd place or better. While it was likely that the No. 2 team was going to move onto the next round regardless, winning guarantees them that spot and will take some pressure off of the team for the next couple of weeks. Keselowski is looking to win his second NASCAR championship in the last two years; the last time he won the championship he began the chase with a win at Chicagoland Speedway. For the No. 2 team one would have to imagine that they are hoping that history is about to repeat itself in the form of another title.
