HOT – Joey Logano

2014 has been a coming out party of sorts for Joey Logano. Prior to the 2014 season Logano had won three races in his Sprint Cup career, his won last weekend in Loudon was his fourth of 2014. Logano his hit his stride with Team Penske and that is evident by the results that he and the No. 22 team are getting on the racetrack. Team Penske also seems to be happy with Logano’s performance seeing as how they announced Thursday morning that they were signing him to a multi-year extension to remain in the No. 22 machine for both Sprint Cup and Nationwide. The success that Logano has found has made him a potential threat to win a championship this season. As Logano rolls into Dover he and his teammate Brad Keselowski will have nothing to worry about as they both have already secured their spots in the next round of the chase. For Logano, Dover will be a small break in which he doesn’t have to stress about what happens on the track; that is until next week when points are reset and Logano and the rest of the chase drivers have to do it all over again.
