NOT – Those who handled the Tony Stewart Investigation

The Tony Stewart and Kevin Ward Jr. tragedy took place on August 9th, 2014. From August 10th through the moment that it was announced that the grand jury wasn’t going to indite Stewart, his name has been dragged through the mud and back. While I am all for fans and critics forming their own opinions it’s truly a shame that Stewart never stood a chance in many courts of public opinion simply because some of the most important information in this case was never made public. This information is of course the toxicology report of Ward Jr. that showed that he was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the accident. Not only was he under the influence but he had enough in his system to where experts said it would have impaired his judgement. Now does this change the opinion of everyone who thought Stewart was at fault? Most likely not, however this is information that should have been out there. I would like to see Nancy Grace and other high profile analysts tear through Stewart the way that they did if it was public knowledge that Ward Jr.’s judgement was impaired by drugs and as a result he put every driver at danger that night. By not releasing that information to the public it makes it very evident that Ward Jr. was being protected on some level which is a shame.
