HOT – Tony Stewart

While “hot” might not be the best way to describe this, it goes without question that Stewart is having one of his best weeks in some time. It was announced last week that the grand jury in New York wasn’t going to indict Stewart on criminal charges in the investigation of the death of Kevin Ward Jr. at that local dirt track. The announcement officially ended any possibility of Stewart being held criminally responsible for the accident and offered him some relief for the first time in the weeks following the accident. The one thing that Stewart has been looking for since the accident is a way to return to a normal life, something that he even admits will most likely never fully happen. That being said, the grand jury announcement was a big step in Stewart being able to move on from the accident and get back to focusing on himself and his own personal healing. Again “hot” may not be the best term to use but it is certainly nice to know that when it comes to Stewart justice was served and that the driver of the No. 14 team is well on his way down the road of healing.
