HOT – Kevin Harvick

Some fans might have thought that Harvick wasn’t going to win another race this season and they had good reason to think that. Despite being one of the fastest cars each and every week Harvick had not won a race since March. All of that changed this past weekend in Charlotte when Harvick picked up his third win of the season and clinched his spot in the third round of the chase. This win could be huge for Harvick and his team because it could be the momentum that they need to propel them to a championship. While Harvick was dominating races and winning poles but not finding victory lane it was without question creating a sense of doubt and frustration on his team. After all, how many times can your driver have the best car and not win before a team has to wonder if it’s ever going to happen before the season is over. If Harvick and his team can repeat what took place in Charlotte and win again before Homestead-Miami they will guarantee themselves a spot in the championship race. Once in Miami winning will mean everything because if a chase driver wins that race they will of course win the championship.
