HOT – Kyle Busch

Every week it seems like I am talking about Kyle Busch and that is because he has run well in every week of the chase. Five chase races have been completed and Busch has finished all five of those races inside of the top-10. In fact, Busch seems to have upped the anti in this round of the chase because both of his second-round finishes have been in the top-five. A solid run inside of the top-15 should be more than enough to secure Busch a spot in the third round of the chase. If Busch and his team (who he know seems to be on the same page with) can continue this into the third round of the chase it will be hard to not consider them legitimate championship contenders. The one thing that has plagued Busch his entire career has been inconsistency. Since the start of the chase Busch has flipped a switch and all of a sudden has become Mr. Consistent. It would seem that the next step for the No. 18 team is to win a race in the chase and that could very well happen at some point during the next round.
