7. Denny Hamlin, Ryan Newman, Aric Almirola and AJ Allmendinger will not make the chase.

I have already said that driver like Kyle Larson, Tony Stewart and Trevor Bayne are going to make the chase in 2015. Well if that is going to happen than some drivers who made the chase in 2014 won’t be going back there again this season.

Almirola and Allmendinger won’t be returning this season because they aren’t going to win. It was wins that got them both into the chase in 2014 and it will be not winning that will keep them out of the chase in 2015.

Newman will miss the chase this season because like last season he isn’t going to win. However, unlike last season Newman isn’t going to have the same consistency. It was consistency that reigned supreme in 2014 for Newman and his team and I simply don’t see them repeating that performance.

As for Hamlin, I just don’t see all four JGR drivers making the chase and he is simply the odd man out. I think Kenseth will win this season and Busch and Edwards will have great years. This isn’t a knock on Hamlin, I just don’t think he will make the cut this season.
