NASCAR: One Question Facing Each Driver Ahead Of 2015 Season

Kasey Kahne (HMS) – Can Kahne show that he was worth his extension?

HMS shocked many in NASCAR circles when they announced that they were extending Kahne’s contract. That plan doesn’t seem so insane now that we know Gordon is leaving and Elliott is coming in.

Regardless of the reasons behind Kahne being brought back to HMS the one thing that is for certain is that there needs to be results. Kahne is coming off of a season where he won a race and made the chase but for most that didn’t really feel like an accomplishment.

Aside from Kahne’s victory he never really looked that great on the track. The No. 5 team had issues the ranged from bad luck to poor pit crew performance. Beginning in 2015 Kahne is going to need produce better results.
